Develop Phase

The Develop Phase is all about taking the Functional Specification and Information Architecture (IA) outlined in the Design phase, the Governance Framework outlined in the Content phase and developing a solution that meets these requirements, design and policies.

The IA taxonomy is implemented.

Customised site templates are created to meet the business requirements, these may include:

• Collaborative workspaces
• Document workspaces
• Meeting workspaces

Additional and bespoke web part components are created.

Components to integrate line-of-business functionality are created or configured.

Testing of the solution is critical; test scripts for scenario and feature based UAT happens in this phase with official User Acceptance Testing done to sign off the development. Once UAT is signed off, we are ready to deploy.
